One Sheffield United player’s name is on the end of every supporter’s tongue at the moment because of his recent displays.
After being handed his Premier League debut by Chris Wilder against Arsenal, Blades academy graduate Oli Arblaster has been a hot topic within the fan base.
The 19-year-old was awarded with a start in United’s following game against Bournemouth, and he delivered yet another promising showing in the heart of a Premier League midfield.
Ex-Blade Carl Asaba on Sheffield United midfielder Arblaster
Recently on the Blades Heaven podcast, former Sheffield United striker Carl Asaba spoke admirably about Arblaster.
“His performances are brilliant. The way he played against Bournemouth was great. To deal with all the hype of the England Elite squad, and then to go and score, it’s just brilliant.”
Asaba also gave a mention to young striker Louie Marsh, who has been an absolute goal machine for the development team.
“The academy, the coaches and the infrastructure we have got [at Shirecliffe] is bringing through these great talents. It is really exciting,” he added.
Arblaster may well be included in the starting eleven to face Fulham on Saturday afternoon. And the boyhood Blade will be hoping to carry on his good run of form and help United to a much-needed win.
