Fans view on where Sheffield United will finish

The opening Premier League game of the season is not far away with Sheffield United hosting Crystal Palace in their first game. And with that, Sky Bet have conducted research on every team in the league, to determine the supporters’ thoughts on how the season will play out.

Who are the relegation candidates?

According to a poll, 19% of the fans selected last season’s Championship winners Burnley as one of the three clubs to be relegated from all sides in the division. The majority of the polled fans believed that Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, Sheffield United, and Luton were more likely to face the drop.

Are Unitedites optimistic or pessimistic?

The research conducted by Sky Bet shows that Sheffield United fans on average are fairly optimistic about this upcoming season. Just under 30% of United supporters believe that the Blades will finish in 17th position. But the fans on average have predicted a 15th place finish.

Do fans have faith in the club?

The research conducted suggests that 98% of fans think that Paul Heckingbottom is the right man in charge, and they rank Heckingbottom as the 16th-best manager in the Premier League. Meanwhile, 70% are of the opinion that the club is being run well.
