Former Sheffield United striker Che Adams is reportedly a top target for Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 27-year-old is currently gunning for promotion to the Premier League with Southampton. Adams has notched ten goals and three assists in 30 appearances this season.
According to The Telegraph, the former Blade is well liked by Wolves boss Gary O’Neil as he attempts to add more depth to his attack this summer.
With 28 appearances for Scotland, Adams boasts considerable experience, having accumulated over 400 appearances throughout his career. He made the move to Southampton in 2019 after stints with Sheffield United and Birmingham City, amassing 43 goals in 180 matches.
In the Premier League, Adams has netted 25 goals in 124 appearances, indicating his capability to score at the highest level, albeit not consistently.
The Scottish international was signed by Sheffield United for an undisclosed six-figure fee from non-league Ilkeston back in November 2014.
During his time at Bramall Lane, Adams scored 15 times and had five assists in 55 matches, including a memorable brace against Spurs in the League Cup in the 14/15 campaign.
