Welsh international Kieffer Moore is expected to have several Championship clubs sniffing around for him before Friday’s deadline. But, Mike McGrath insists to not rule out Premier League clubs looking at players with top-flight experience, as he names Sheffield United as a potential destination.
However, it is believed that the Bournemouth coach, Andoni Iraola, sees the 31-year-old in his plans. Although, if the Cherries bring in a forward on deadline day that could push Moore on the periphery of the squad.
Moore has invaluable experience and Sheffield United may look to bring the Bournemouth man in. This could allow Will Osula to gain a vital loan move on deadline day to continue his progression in the EFL.
The Blades only have one target-man – Oli McBurnie – within their attacking options. Given McBurnie’s injury struggles, it would be a smart move to bring in an extra target-man in case the Scottish international picks up another injury further down the line.
Moore scored four goals in 27 Premier League appearances last term, but only 12 of those were starts [Transfermarkt]. He’s featured in all three Premier League matches this campaign as a substitute. Additionally, he started in Bournemouth’s Carabao Cup victory on Tuesday night against Swansea City.
