Sheffield United’s in-form youngster Louie Marsh has been approached by multiple EFL clubs over a possible loan move, according to Mike McGrath.
For the past year, Marsh has captivated the attention of supporters because of his form in the development team, and rightfully so. The 19-year-old managed to net 18 goals in all competitions during the previous season, per SofaScore. Fans are now speculating whether he could be the next standout talent emerging from Sheffield United’s renowned youth academy.
Louie Marsh has demonstrated superior technical ability compared to the likes of Daniel Jebbison and Will Osula, although he does lack their physical prowess.
This season, Marsh has picked up from where he left off at the end of last season scoring two hattricks across the first two development squad games.
Mike McGrath labels the young forward “one of the most sought after” players that’s available for a season-long loan.
With the depth in attack that Sheffield United now have, it is unlikely that Marsh would find much minutes other than in the cup. And the 19-year-old has already proven his quality is far beyond youth level at this point. The next step is for him to establish himself as a regular starter at senior level for an EFL club.
