New signing Anis Slimane has mostly paired up with Sander Berge in pre-season games, while Oli Norwood and John Fleck have missed out on most of the friendly matches due to injuries. Ismaila Coulibaly hasn’t featured once due to knee swelling on the knee he had an operation on.

This has allowed youngsters Harrison Neal and Andre Brooks more game time this summer, both have made a good impression on the coaching staff and supporters.
