Sheffield United have announced that two of their youngsters, Oli Arblaster and Finley Potter, have been sent out on loan for the remainder of the season.
19-year-old Finley Potter has rejoined National League side Barnet after experiencing a short loan spell with the Bees last term. The promising centre-back played a key role for Barnet during their play-off surge, playing in every league game after his move (14), but would unfortunately fall at the semi-final hurdle.
Potter is regarded as one of the best young defenders at the club and he has proven that during his spell in the development team. And he has been awarded for his efforts after being capped by England U18’s last June.
Oli Arblaster has also made a loan switch and he will experience his first professional loan move with League One side Port Vale. The midfielder previously had a loan spell at Bradford Park Avenue in 2021.
Arblaster has spent a lot of time around the senior squad at Shirecliffe and he boasts Championship appearances, after featuring four times last season including a start against Cardiff City in the away fixture.
Everybody at United will be keeping a close eye on the pair’s performances and results over the course of the campaign.
