Iliman Ndiaye would only consider leaving for Marseille

After the spectacular campaign Iliman Ndiaye has just had it was obvious that he was going to attract attention this summer. Especially considering he has just one year left on his current contract.

Last season Ndiaye was a standout performer in the Championship and for Senegal in the 2022 World Cup. He ended the season off tallying 14 goals and 11 assists in 46 league appearances, per FBref.

It was feared by supporters that Sheffield United would face a difficult task in keeping the forward during this window. But no team has come remotely close to matching his price tag. In spite of that, Ndiaye’s boyhood team Olympique Marseille remain keen on bringing the Senegalese international back to the Vélodrome stadium. The 23-year-old previously had a spell in the Marseille academy between 2011 and 2012.

The charismatic attacker has also gauged the interest of Everton. However, according to the information revealed by “L’After Foot” on RMC, Ndiaye is not at all interested in the Merseyside club. Therefore, the only team Ndiaye would consider leaving the Blades for is Marseille.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently stated that Marseille want to sign Ndiaye “but at their conditions”. Which sounds like the French club cannot, or, will not, meet the valuation of the player.
